Web Developer


The Web Developer is a cross-functional role, focused on the development of highly effective user interfaces for websites and online portals. The Developer will play a vital role in the implementation, testing and delivery of microsites, content managed websites, HTML emails, banners and online applications. They will work closely with designers, developers, project managers and QA analysts to build a state-of-the-art Digital Marketing Platforms.


• Build websites and applications using HTML/CSS/JS

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Follow internal development methodologies

• Implement efficient content models, security models, workflows, templates and services

• Develop highly innovative and effective user interfaces with front-end code

• Integrate interface with content management modules and components

• Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse

• Have an understanding on emerging trends and technologies

• Work with the agency’s version control process and code repositories

• Work with QA team and ensure quality of output

• Communicate with clients on the technical implementation and considerations surrounding agency projects

Job Specifications

Education / Professional 

• Graduate with a good pass degree

• Minimum of 5 years development experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years working with AEM, Java, or PHP

• Minimum of 5 years working with JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, and CSS

Knowledge Required

• Good working knowledge of front-end code

• Ability to design technical solutions and approaches to technical projects

• Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target

• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX

• Experience with RESTful and SOAP-based web services

Skills Required

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Excellent documentation skills

• Experience working with bug tracking software - JIRA a significant advantage

• Experience working with version control and repositories

• Understanding of hardware and development environments


• Ability to assess and develop technical and process concepts

• Knowledge of the web trends, standards, and usage of the Internet

• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects

• Ability to manage time and capacity

• Ability to test own work and perform development QA
